1. Cozy Sanctuary Services

CozyLife CRM provides an offline-first workspace designed to help individuals nurture professional relationships, organize habits, manage scheduled tasks, and grow a virtual personal garden. The service consists of:

• Cozy Offline (Free Plan): Full relationship and garden software executed strictly within the boundaries of your local web browser using client-side IndexedDB storage.
• CozySync Cloud ($2.99/month): An optional, secure serverless cloud backup and cross-device replication subscription utilizing secure SQLite D1 edge vaults.
• AI Magic Parser ($7.00/month): An optional edge-native integration utilizing advanced natural language processing (NLP) to parse relationship milestones, contact attributes, and tasks.

2. Absolute Self-Custody of Data

Under our self-custody principles, you are the exclusive custodian of your personal CRM database:

• Your contact names, notes, check-ins, and scheduled tasks are stored on your device's memory. If you clear your browser's application storage (IndexedDB) without downloading a backup, your local data will be permanently cleared.
• You can download your entire database as a standard JSON file at any time from your Connection Center. CozyLife guarantees zero data lock-in.

3. Cloud Synchronization & Edge Sync Rules

If you subscribe to the standard $2.99/mo CozySync cloud backup service, the client-side system automatically synchronizes local IndexedDB changes to our edge SQLite D1 database when you are authenticated and online:

• We coordinate synchronizations using cryptographic timestamps. In the event of a sync conflict, CozyLife merges records using "last-write-wins" logic.
• You must maintain an active, paid Stripe subscription to access continuous sync backups. If your subscription is canceled, we preserve your edge SQLite backup for exactly 90 days before permanent erasure. Your local browser storage remains entirely unaffected and active.

4. Subscription Billing, Upgrades, & Cancellation

• Billing: Subscriptions are securely processed through Stripe on a recurring monthly billing cycle.
• Upgrade & Downgrade: Subscriptions are applied instantly upon verification of payment. Canceling an AI Magic bundle automatically downgrades your account to the CozySync level at the end of the current billing cycle.
• Refunds: We offer a no-questions-asked 14-day refund window. Contact [email protected] to request a refund.

5. AI Magic Parser Fair Use Policy

Our $7.00/mo AI Magic subscription parses unstructured meeting logs and transcripts into clean data. To maintain edge-server performance and prevent API abuse, we apply a generous monthly threshold of 100,000 parsed words per user. If you exceed this reasonable ceiling, your processing requests may be temporarily throttled until your billing cycle resets.

6. Limitation of Liability

Because CozyLife operates fundamentally as a local-first application and does not hold access keys to your local browser storage, we cannot be held liable for data loss resulting from browser storage corruption, local hardware damage, user clearance of IndexedDB databases, or unauthorized physical access to your local machine.

7. Modifications to Terms

We believe in transparency. If we make material modifications to these terms, we will post a notification inside the application header or email registered sync users at least 15 days prior to the changes taking effect.

1. The Data We Process

A. Locally Stored Data (Self-Custody)

All core CRM records—including names, email addresses, phone numbers, meeting notes, habit logs, task descriptions, and virtual plant growth points—are processed and stored strictly within your browser's private IndexedDB storage. CozyLife edge servers cannot view or access this data on the free tier.

B. Cloud Sync Data (Secure D1 Vaults)

If you actively opt-in and subscribe to CozySync Cloud, our application transmits your CRM database to secure SQLite D1 databases hosted on Cloudflare's global edge network. This data is transmitted encrypted over HTTPS, and is used strictly to back up and replicate your database across your devices.

C. Email and Sync Authentications

To register an account for CozySync cloud vaults, we require a valid email address and a cryptographically hashed password. We trigger secure transactional verification emails and password reset tokens exclusively using the Resend platform.

2. AI Magic & NLP Parsing Shield

When you use the optional AI Magic transcript parser ($7.00/mo) or bring your own API keys, your raw text data is processed as follows:

• Data is processed strictly via HTTPS API calls to advanced natural language models (Google Gemini AI models hosted on Cloudflare AI gateways).
• Absolute Safeguard: Google and CozyLife guarantee that relationship transcripts, notes, and records processed via our API tunnels are never stored by the AI provider, are never sold, and are **never** used to train AI models.

3. Cookies and Browser Storage Declaration

We respect your cookie choice. We use a transparent cookie policy governed by your browser preference:

• Strictly Necessary Cookies: We use a secure cookie to store your JSON Web Token (JWT) session signature (`cozylife_vault_token`) if you log in. This cookie is strictly necessary to authenticate your edge sync requests to the Cloud Vault.
• Functional & Optional Cookies: If you accept our cookie banner, we set functional cookies to store local preferences (e.g. `cozylife_theme_pref = 'cozy'` or `cozylife_analytics = 'opted_in'`). If you click **Decline Optional**, we immediately purge and block all functional cookies, preserving only a single cookie (`cozylife_cookies_accepted = 'false'`) to remember your choice and respect your privacy.

4. Subprocessors

To provide secure hosting, processing, and billing, we partner with industry-leading, privacy-compliant processors:

• Cloudflare: Application hosting, edge D1 database hosting, and security firewalls.
• Stripe: Payment card handling, recurring billing verification, and client portal processing. We never store or see your raw credit card numbers.
• Resend: Secure transactional email and system warning alerts.
• Google Gemini: Secure, stateless NLP text parsing for AI Magic subscribers.

5. GDPR and CCPA Compliance

Under international privacy laws, CozyLife provides full data portability and control:

• Right to Portability: You can export your complete workspace dataset as a standard JSON backup instantly in your Connection Center.
• Right to Deletion: You can delete your entire local database via settings, and trigger a complete, immediate erasure of your Cloud Vault SQLite records directly from the Connection Center or settings.
